My sister Amber is my Matron of Honor.  She and Randy have been married for over two years, and they live in Gardnerville, NV.  Amber works with developing online learning for Barton Hospital.  Amber and Randy have two dogs, and in their free time they like to take the dogs backwoods skiing.

Krystal and I have been friends since fifth grade where we met at Aldrich Elementary School.  Throughout middle school and high school we remained friends, but we became closer in high school through church activities and mutual friendships.  Krystal attends college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  This December Krystal will graduate with a double major in News Editorial Journalism and Political Science and a minor in Spanish.

Kate and I met the first day of classes at Augustana.  We built a friendship and continued to have many similar classes and activities.  Sophomore year we became roommates and continued junior and senior years.  Kate is majoring in Elementary Education.  After graduation, she plans to move to Lombard, IL and teach in an elementary school.

I met Meg toward the end of freshman year at Augustana when we both pledged our sorority and had many classes together.  Meg is graduating with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Sociology and Political Science.  She really enjoys working with adolesants at risk.  Next year she will move back to Chicago and continue working with this age group.

Annie and I have been friends since freshman year of college.  We were first in band together, traveled to England, and then became closer throughout the years.  Annie is an Elementary Education major from Park Ridge, IL.  Annie’s not sure where she will be next year, but she plans to teach.

Julie and I met our summer after sophomore year through Group Workcamps.  We were on the same work crew and did four camps in Monroe, LA, Bristol TN, Napoleonville, LA, and Mobile, AL.  Julie will graduate from the University of Illinois and begin Medical School next year at UIC.

Shane was my roommate during our freshman and junior years at Nebraska. He’s got a heart of gold and shares my same fanatical obsession with all things sport. We usually just end up quoting movies back and forth to one another when we’re not talking and arguing sports. He’s been to almost every Nebraska football game in his lifetime. He’s a broadcasting major at UNL who will graduate in December 2006 and one hell of a model American (bonus points if you get that movie reference).

I’ve known Cody since seventh grade when we played basketball through the YMCA together. We went to high school at Millard North and lived next-door to one another in the dorms freshman year.  He’s been my roommate the past two years. You might know Cody as the lanky one on the drumline in the show “Tommy Lee Goes To College,” which was filmed at UNL. He’ll graduate in May 2006 with a degree in broadcasting.

Shane, Cody and I met Brad the first day we moved into the dorms during an impromptu game of miniature golf in the dorm hallways. He was my roommate last year and works tirelessly at HuskerVision where he follows around the Nebraska softball team. He’s from Pocahontas, Iowa, and will graduate in December 2006 with a broadcasting degree.

I met Raj in Spanish class during my freshman year of high school.  For four years we tormented Spanish teachers at Millard North and made jokes that only we laughed at. Raj is a senior at Nebraska Christian College in Norfolk and will graduate in May 2006 with a BA in Pastoral Ministry. I think Raj has been able to grow a beard ever since I’ve known him.

Brother of the Bride

I first met Cliff before Courtney and I started dating and he was a cadet at the Air Force Academy. Since then, he’s graduated and moved to Baltimore where he works with the government in one of those, “If I tell you, I’ll have to kill you jobs.”  In the fall he’ll start graduate school at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. I used to be scared of Cliff in high school – now I’m only kind of scared of him.

Brother-in-Law of the Bride

Randy is Courtney’s brother-in-law, who I first met at Courtney’s high school graduation party in 2002. He’s married to Courtney’s sister Amber, and is an engineer for Bently (GE) in Gardnerville, Nevada. He has more patience than any saint could claim, which I saw in action as he taught me to ski in Tahoe last year and I inched my way down the mountain.
